Absolutely stunning :D I'd be interested to know what tools and wood you use and where you get it :)

Thank you!! I 'just' made a journal for that. So here ya go! =D [link]
I use basswood and I used to get it at local art stores, but I just recently got it from here: [link] (the wood that I burned the dragon one on was from there)
And thanks for the watch! =D

Thank you! I will definitely give it a read :) I've dabbled in carving wood but was never able to get a hold of any basswood (closest craft store is about an hr away and expensive).

I got 8 pieces of wood from that place. The 10" x 13" (white area) planks were about $7 (including the shipping costs). And the price scales down from there. Minimum order of 4 though to get a bulk discount.

Works for me :) I'm guessing the more expensive part is going to be the wood burner.

Yeah... the burners are usually about $70-150. The pen and tips I bought a local store. They're about $30 for a pen and $10 for a tip. It adds up quickly, but last long.

Nice. I got a cheapo one just to try it out. Loved doodling on the wood but the burner was much to be desired (which I expected). Thanks for the input :)

I actually used a cheap one for a while also. I just used this tip: [link]
And made this with it: [link]
So my earlier wood burnings on here before that one, I made with that tip.
